1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between you, the HVAC business I write pages for, and me, Shon Zinger, a sole proprietor in Thornhill, Ontario. "I" and "me" means Shon Zinger. "You" means your business.

You accept these terms when you tell me you want to go ahead, by email or by paying. If anything we agree in writing by email is different from these terms, the email wins for that point.

2. What you get

• Sample page. One page written for your website, on a topic a local competitor has a page for and you don't. Free, no obligation. If it isn't good enough to put up, bin it.
• Free first month. Up to 8 pages written for your site, each one approved by you before it goes up. No commitment, and you keep the pages. In return, you give me read-only Google Search Console access, so we can both see what the pages do, and permission to quote the results if they're good.
• Starter, $497 CAD a month + applicable tax. Up to 8 pages a month, delivered as drafts for you or your web person to publish.
• Core, $997 CAD a month + applicable tax. Up to 16 pages a month, published on your site for you, plus a monthly Search Console report.

"Up to" means the monthly price covers up to that many pages. I don't send a page that doesn't pass my own review just to make up the number.

The work is website pages. It does not include your Google Business Profile, links, ads or changes to the design of your website.

3. How pages are written

Pages are drafted with AI writing tools, then checked and edited by me before you see them.

4. Your approval

I send you every page before it goes up. You can approve it, ask for changes or turn it down. Nothing goes up on your site without your approval.

Please check what each page says about your business, such as your services, prices, service area, licences and warranties. You know those facts and I may not. Once you approve a page, you're confirming it's accurate about your business.

5. Publishing

• Starter: you, or whoever looks after your website, publish the pages. Publishing them is your responsibility.
• Core: I publish approved pages on your site. You give me a login that can add pages, and I use it only to add or update pages you've approved. You can remove that access at any time. Keep your own backups of your website.

6. Price, tax and billing

Starter is $497 CAD a month + applicable tax. Core is $997 CAD a month + applicable tax. "Applicable tax" means any GST, HST or other sales tax that applies to the service where you are.

The sample page and the first month are free. Nothing is charged for them, and billing only starts if you tell me you want to carry on after the free month. After that, you're billed monthly for the plan you chose.

If I ever change a price, I'll tell you by email before it applies to you, and you can cancel instead.

7. Month to month, and cancelling

There's no fixed term and no minimum commitment. You can cancel anytime by email. Cancelling stops the next month's charge; the month you've already paid for runs to its end, and you still get its pages.

I can also stop the service at the end of any month by telling you by email. Either way, you keep every page you've received.

8. Who owns the pages

You own the pages I deliver to you, including the free sample page and the free month's pages, whether or not you ever pay me. To the extent I have any rights in them, I assign those rights to you when I deliver the page. Some AI-assisted text may not be protected by copyright at all; whatever rights do exist are yours. I waive any moral rights I have in the pages, so you can edit them and publish them under your business's name.

If you took the free first month, I may quote the results the pages get if they're good. That was part of the deal for the free month.

9. No promise of results

I don't promise rankings, traffic, calls, leads or dates. Search engines decide what they show, and I don't control them. New pages usually take months to show anything.

10. One HVAC company per city

I take one HVAC company per city: the first in each city to start the free month (a free sample page doesn't hold the city). While you're a client, I don't take on another HVAC company in your city. If you don't carry on after the free month, or you cancel, the city opens up again.

11. Limit on liability

To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you for anything to do with this service is limited to the fees you paid me in the month before the claim. While you're on the free sample page or the free month, that amount is zero. I'm not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost business.

12. Changes to these terms

If I change these terms, I'll email you before the change applies to you. If you don't agree with a change, you can cancel.

13. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
